ELS San Francisco Test Center is conveniently located in the Financial District within walking distance of Montgomery and Embarcadero Bart stations as well as the Salesforce Transbay Transit Center. ELS San Francisco offers IELTS Academic and IELTS General Training. You can also choose whether to take your IELTS Test on Paper or on Computer. We provide individual headphones for both versions of the test.
The cost of the test is $280 for IELTS on Paper or $285 for IELTS on Computer.
Please be advised that test takers must travel to the test center to take the test IN-PERSON for both paper-based and computer-delivered tests.
Results for IELTS on computer are available 3-5 days after the test and IELTS on paper are available 13 days after the test.

The speaking test is taken separately and you may choose your speaking test time when you register. Please note that ELS reserves the right to modify the speaking schedule in advance or on the test day due to examiner availability and absence of other test takers. You will be notified if there is a change.
